HOW TO UNLOCK SKILL STYLES

Skill styles can be unlocked by completing various quests and achievements in ESO. Here is how you can unlock all skill styles in game:

Soul Trap, Orchid Purple

Complete “The Second Era of Scribing” quest. You can start this quest by reading the noted posted on the side of the tavern in Skingrad off the Skingrad City Wayshrine.

Vigor, Soothing Blue

Complete “The Wing of the Netch” quest found in the Scholarium.

 

Low Slash, Burnt Orange

Complete “The Wing of the Gryphon” quest found in the Scholarium.

 

Trap Beast, Dawnlight Orange

Complete “The Wing of the Dragon” quest found in the Scholarium.

​

Barrier, Turquoise Blue

Complete the final quest in the Scribing quest line.

​

Blessing of Protection, Sky Blue

Complete “Death and Titans” quest. You can start this quest by talking to Toutis Mido just outside the Silorn Public Dungeon. This quest will take you through the Silorn Public Dungeon.

 

Weakness to Elements, Purple

Complete the "Truth Reflector" achievement – Complete the “Fate of the Forgotten Prince” quest which is the second to last quest in the Gold Road main story line.

 

Whirlwind, Ochre Orange 

Complete the “Caught in a Trap” quest. You can start this quest by talking to Grimmer just off the Centurion's Watch Wayshrine. This quest will take you in to the Leftwheal Trading Post Public Dungeon.

 

Poison Arrow, Crimson Red

Complete the "Gold Road Pathfinder" achievement – Discover all of the striking locales across West Weald.

 

Regeneration, Azure Blue

Complete the "West Weald Skyshard Hunter" achievement – Find all 18 Skyshards across West Weald.

 

Magelight, Viridian Green

Complete the "Gold Road Sword for Hire" achievement – Complete all the daily quest achievements in West Weald:

• Gold Road Sojourner  – Complete 1 delve daily quest

• Gold Road Monster Exterminator – Complete 30 world boss daily quests

• Mirrormooor Incursion Devastator – Complete 30 incursion daily quests

 

Grand Healing, Lilac Purple

Acquire and use 10 Mosaic Style Shreds from Mirrormoor Incursions

Dawnbreaker, Dusk Purple

Acquire and use 20 Mosaic Style Shreds from Mirrormoor Incursions

​

Meteor, Blazing Orange

Acquire and use 30 Mosaic Style Shreds from Mirrormoor Incursions

 

Reverse Slash, Ruby Red

Complete the "Glass Sky Defender"  – Complete the Mirrormoor Incursions at the Mosaic locations:

• Colovia Mirrrormoor Mosaic

• Ostumir Mirrormoor Mosaic

• Sutch Mirrormoor Mosaic

• Silorn Mirrormoor Mosaic

 

Warhorn, Amber Orange

Complete the "Mirrormoor Incursion Disruptor" achievement – Disrupt the Valkynaz rituals listed below in the wilds surrounding the Mirrormoor Mosaics:

• Valkynaz Lirik

• Valkynaz Enuzel

• Valkynaz Marukhir

• Valkynaz Uldazzan

• Valkynaz Ryvekh

• Valkynaz Akqoth

 

Expert Hunter, Carmine Red

Complete the "Lucent Citadel Vanquisher" achievement – Defeat Count Ryelaz, Zilyesset, Orphic Shattered Shard, and secure the knot in Lucent Citadel.

 

Snipe, Scarlet Red

Complete the "Antiquarian Chase: West Weald" achievement – Acquire all three Mythic items:

• Rourken Heavy Gauntlets

• Shadowseeker’s Cowl

• The Saint and the Seducer Necklace

 

Force Shock, Onyx Black

Acquire 15 Luminous Ink, which you can obtain from harvesting nodes after completing "The Wing of the Netch" quest or from slain enemies after completing "The Wing of the Indrik" quest.

 

Cleave, Cinnabar Red

Complete "A Signature with Class" achievement – Learn the Class Mastery Signature Script by combining 50 Class Script Scraps (acquired from Trials, Dungeons, Arenas, PvP & Master Writs).

 

Entropy, Vibrant Yellow

Complete the "Gifts from the Archmagister" achievement – Learn each of the following scripts by searching the Mages Guild halls in Tamriel:

• Focus Script: Physical Damage

• Focus Script: Stun

• Focus Script: Damage Shield

• Signature Script: Hunter's Snare

• Signature Script: Druid's Resurgence

• Signature Script: Warrior's Opportunity

• Affix Script: Vitality

• Affix Script: Maim

• Affix Script: Vulnerability

 

Wall of Elements, Violet Purple

Complete the "Pen is Mightier than the Sword" achievement which requires the following achievements:

• A Signature with Class – Learn the Class Mastery Signature Script by combining 50 Class Script Scraps (acquired from Trials, Dungeons, Arenas, PvP & Master Writs)

• Gifts from the Archmagister – Learn each of the following scripts by searching the Mages Guild halls in Tamriel:

  • Focus Script: Physical Damage

  • Focus Script: Stun

  • Focus Script: Damage Shield

  • Signature Script: Hunter's Snare

  • Signature Script: Druid's Resurgence

  • Signature Script: Warrior's Opportunity

  • Affix Script: Vitality

Complete the quest "Caught in a Trap" found in the Leftwheal Trading Post Public Dungeon in West Weald.

 

Elemental Rage, Violet Purple

Purchase from Maj al-Ragath in the Undaunted Enclave for 40 Undaunted Keys.

 

Annulment, Vibrant Yellow

Combine 5 fragments to unlock this style. You can find these fragment in the following places:

• Kill the Corrupted Scion of Balamath in Balamath Delve (Craglorn)

• Kill Sthothra, a World Boss in Aba-Darre (Coldharbor)

• Kill any boss at the Rulanyil's Fall Public Dungeon in Greenshade

• Kill the final boss in Vaults of Madness group dungeon

• Kill the final boss in Scrivener’s Hall group dungeon

 

Roar, Verdant Green

Combine 5 fragments to unlock this style. You can find these fragment in the following places:

• Kill Packleader Sigmund in Hircine’s Haunt Delve (Craglorn)

• Kill the Giant Snake Mother in Bad Man’s Hallows Public Dungeon (Glenumbra)

• Kill Garach Wolf-Father, a World Boss in the Laketower Watch (Bangkorai) 

• Kill the final boss in the Blessed Crucible group dungeon

• Kill the final boss in the Moonhunter Keep group dungeon

Combine 5 fragments to unlock this style. You can find these fragment in the following places:

• Kill Kurkron the Mangler in False Martyr's Folly Delve (The Deadlands)

• Kill Stone-Boiler Omalas, Brander Releth & Mountain Caller Hlaren in the Forgotten Wastes Public Dungeon (Vvardenfell)

• Complete any Systres Volcanic Vent (High Isle, Galen or Amenos)

• Kill the final boss in The Cauldron group dungeon

• Kill the final boss in City of Ash II group dungeon

• Kill the final boss in Sunspire trial

Undo, Lilac Purple

Complete the Tracker of Temporal Tomes achievement but finding five temporal tomes in the following areas of Summerset and Arteum:

• Traitor’s Vault Temporal Tome: found in the room directly north of the chamber of The First Flesh Colossus in the Traitor's Vault delve (Arteum)

• Garden of Sacred Numbers Temporal Tome: found in the Garden of Sacred Numbers ruin southeast of Shimmerene

• Karnwasten Temporal Tome: found next to Tendirrion in the Karnwasten Public Dungeon

• Vault of Moawita Temporal Tome: found on the balcony inside the Vault of Moawita in The College of Psijics Ruins

• Coral Aerie Temporal Tome: found on the shore, right beside the entrance in the Coral Aerie group dungeon
